Founded in 1982, the Illinois Drug Education Alliance (IDEA) is an effective grassroots force against alcohol and other drug use in Illinois. IDEA is a statewide, volunteer coalition of individuals dedicated to the educational purpose of promoting the goals of health-minded youth and the prevention of the illegal, unsafe use of alcohol and other drugs and unhealthy behaviors.

What is happening?
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, IDEA is looking for organizations that want to participate in our annual Healthy Relationship campaign. Sure, we tie it in with V-Day…sure, there are cute little hearts…sure, we want to promote healthy dating relationships…but this campaign is about so much more than that! IDEA and the Student Advisory Board have put together this campaign to focus on all sorts of relationships…not just those between cutesy couples.
