2007 Red Ribbon Contests Essay Contest – Use the theme of this year’s Red Ribbon Campaign, “Look At Me, I’m Drug-Free,” to explain in 250 words or less to explain why being drug-free is important to you and how you accomplish this goal. Poster Contest – Design a poster around the Red Ribbon theme, “Look At Me, I’m Drug-Free.” Show what is your life is giving you the strength to resist the temptation to use drugs. Some form of Red Ribbon must be included on your poster. Computer Graphic Contest – Design a computer graphic that portrays who or what in your life is giving you the strength to choose a drug-free and healthy lifestyle. Some type of Red Ribbon must be included in your design. Classroom Project Contest – Classroom teachers are encouraged to develop a unique drug prevention project for their classroom. Examples of past entries include a mural, quilt, or song lyrics. Send a photo, voice recording, etc. and a brief description of the project. Entry categories for each contest are: Grades 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12 Deadline for all contest entries is November 1, 2007.
